Info Edge, via Naukri Campus, is conducting a structured multi-round hiring challenge for 2026 B.Tech students seeking Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) positions.

This process is designed to identify top talent from engineering institutions. Successful candidates will be eligible to interview with Info Edge for full-time SDET roles.

Hiring Challenge Rounds

1. Online Assessments

• Duration: 120 minutes
• Format: MCQs + Coding Questions

Requirements:

• Laptop/Desktop with webcam
• High-speed internet connectivity

2. Technical and HR Interviews

• Location: Info Edge Office, Noida
• Focus: Technical competency and cultural fit

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for new and existing features
• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans
• Identify, document, and track software bugs and defects
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of test automation frameworks and tools
• Reproduce and debug issues in collaboration with the development team
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies and testing methodologies

Required Skills

• Strong programming fundamentals in at least one OOP language: Java, Python, C++, or C#
• Understanding of software development life cycle (Agile & Waterfall)
• Knowledge of different types of software testing
• Familiarity with version control systems (GIT)
• Basic knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to leverage generative AI tools for productivity (e.g., test case generation, code optimization, documentation)

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of software testing concepts and test automation principles
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• Basic understanding of databases and CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman
