About the Role: AI Engineer at Persist Ventures

Short-form video is the fastest-growing format across platforms like Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. But creating high-quality, engaging content consistently is still a challenge.

As an AI Engineer at Persist Ventures, you’ll build a scalable pipeline that can:

• Generate story ideas using Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Create characters, settings, and visuals with cutting-edge image generation AI
• Stitch visuals into video clips and assemble 30–60 second reels/shorts
• (Optionally) Automate posting across social media platforms
• Ensure workflows are modular, reproducible, and extensible

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Persist Ventures engineering team, you will:

1. Architect & implement an automated pipeline for short-form video generation.
2. Integrate APIs & SDKs from LLM, image, and video AI providers.
3. Orchestrate workflows in Python, ensuring modularity and scalability.
4. Automate media processing (image & video editing workflows).
5. Document processes clearly for smooth handoff and team collaboration.

Skills & Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about Generative AI and automation.

• Strong knowledge of AI/ML and Deep Learning
• Experience with Generative AI models (text, image, video)
• Proficiency in Python with clean, modular code practices
• Hands-on with REST APIs & SDKs
• Familiarity with media processing pipelines
• Bonus: experience with workflow tools like Airflow, LangChain, LangGraph, Prefect
• Strong communication and documentation skills

No prior work experience required—we welcome freshers and self-taught AI enthusiasts.
